Sustainability Learning Resource Center

Welcome to the Sustainability Learning Resource Center!

This location is an evolving web site intended to provide on-line access to scientific, social, and educational resources for students and teachers in the Tahoe-Truckee and Sierra Regions. Additionally, this Resource Center showcases the sustainability education work underway in this area for use by other Regions in the country and facilitates cooperative distance learning focusing on sustainability.

The Tahoe Center for a Sustainable Future intends to continue to develop this site based on interest in specific subject areas. Future pages could include the following items:

On-line respository of student data and project work.  Links to project updates for similar projects throughout the Country.
Links to Regional and National science databases.  Email links to Regional and National scientists, economists, and geographers.

Are you interested? Please help us prioritize our efforts by contacting Harriet Goldman, Program Manager at the email address listed below.

The Sustainability Learning Resource Center is a project sponsored by the Tahoe Center for a Sustainable Future, in cooperation with University Extension, UC Davis and Sierra Nevada College. This project has been generously supported by a grant from the National Telecommunications Information Agency. Portions of this Center have also been funded by the Stanley Foundation and the Gellert Foundation.
