Making a Place for Wildlife. Adopt-a-Watershed, Lesson 2
Wildlife games
- Visit Trout Creek
Evaluate habitat; status of necessary components, needs of wildlife, limiting factors?
- Restoration Phase I: trash removal.
- 7th Grade Science Curriculum
Study local topo maps; contour lines, how to read a map
Learn to use a compass and topo maps

Map creek using GPS with Forest Service
Identify areas of erosion
Study stream flow, sediment loads
